A Fringe blizzard
Fringe Friday’s Leap Year Edition at Theatre on the Square (627 Massachusetts Ave.) promises to be a major feast Feb. 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. For starters, you get members of the legendary Bloomington Playwrights Project performing a selection from their production of BLIZZARD, an evening of 27 ultra-short, three-minute plays. Then, The Theater Within, one of the city’s newest companies, previews their upcoming production of The Laramie Project, marking the 10th anniversary of Matthew Shepard’s death.
Admission is free, with an opportunity to mix and mingle beginning at 5:30 p.m. All attendees are also offered a special offer of two for one tickets to Proof, playing at TOTS (317-685-TOTS).
