The Herron School of Art & Design has created a new fundraising event: a funky cocktail/casual chic evening of art couture, defined as high fashion wearable art. There will be — what else? — a runway show of wearable art designed by 40 Herron students and alums, along with a progressive dinner featuring culinary creations by 20 of the city’s most notable chefs. Restaurants represented include: 14 West, Adobo Grill, Café Nora, Café Patachou, L’explorateur, The Oceanaire and R Bistro. The charitable portion of the program goes to support Herron programs, including the Herron Galleries and Visiting Artist Lecture Series. It happens June 7, 7-11 p.m. at Eskenazi Hall, 735 W.
