by Editors Mar 5, 2008

The Garfield Park Art Center has been a bastion for innovative shows and programming on the Southside. March 7, check out Through the Lens: Indiana, an exhibition of 70 fine art photographs by members of the Indiana Photographic Society. The opening reception runs from 7-9 p.m. and is free of charge. At 8 p.m., Jay Allen will give a presentation on historic Mock’s Ferry Road, called Indiana’s Mother Road. Call 317-327-7066 for information or go to www.indyparks.org. Garfield Park is located at 2450 Shelby St.
