"The Story of Stuff"
by Editors Feb 20, 2008

All of us have stuff. We buy stuff, we use it and we throw a lot of it away. The Story of Stuff is a funny, creative and highly informative 20-minute film that examines the social, environmental and global costs of ... stuff. Actually, it follows the life of an iPod, from the extraction of the stuff it’s made of, to its eventual incineration.
The Marion County Green Party, along with the Campaign for Sustainable Economics and the Black and Latino Policy Institute, will hold a free showing of this film Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at Earth House Coffee + Books inside the church on the corner of New York and East streets. Greg Buck will lead a discussion after the show. For more information, call 317-917-1638 or email to ecothink@yahoo.com.
