Explore gay male life through the 20th century at the Phoenix Theatre in its Midwest premiere of Terrence McNally’s Some Men. McNally is the multiple award-winning writer of such hits as Love! Valour! Compassion!, Master Class and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Some Men looks at the evolution of gay relationships and same-sex marriage in America. It takes audiences to the Harlem Renaissance, the Stonewall riots and beyond, celebrating the milestones and mourning the losses experienced by successive generations of gay men.

Performances are on the Mainstage June 12-July 19, Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. There will be one Sunday performance July 6, and no show Friday, July 4. Tickets are $25, $15 for those 24 and under. During CheapSeats week, June 12-14, all tickets are just $15. Caution: Some Men contains some nudity. To purchase tickets, call 317-635-PLAY or go to www.phoenixtheatre.org
