'Focus: Midwest'
The Midwest Museum of Contemporary Art has landed, nomad-style, at the Murphy Art Center for this exhibition of works by eight visual artists based in the Midwest. The show consists of photography, sculpture, painting, video and audio installation and is curated by Scott Grow.
MiCo is the latest project of local arts entrepreneur Jeremy Efroymson, an effort to provide yet another angle of approach for the presentation of contemporary art in Indianapolis. Consider this a kind of preview of what the ultimate project might feel like.
An artists’ reception takes place in the Murphy Building’s Suite 4 March 7 from 6-10 p.m. For more information, contact Grow at narziss01@aol.com.
