'Charity by Numbers' at Domont
by Editors Apr 30, 2008

A selection of some of Indiana’s best-known visual artists is exhibiting at the Domont Studio Gallery in support of the Damien Center, the state’s leading AIDS/HIV organization. But this show has a conceptual twist: Each artist has based their work on a classic paint-by-numbers kit; but instead of using the paints provided, they have used their own medium and colors. All works are for sale, with all proceeds going to the Damien Center. Artists include Phil Campbell, Jennifer Complo-McNutt, John Domont, Andrea Eberbach, Robert Eagerton, Becky Fehsenfeld, Magdalena Hoyos-Segovia, Nancy Noel, Kyle Ragsdale, Fred Shields, Lois Main Templeton and Walter Knabe. There will be an artists’ reception from 6-9 p.m. May 2. Domont Studio Gallery is at 545 S. East St. Call 317-685-9634 for information.
