Game challenge
Fund-raiser
Videogamers who enjoy Xbox’s Fight Night and Halo 2 can get their aggression on for a good cause May 20. The Halo 2 Charity Challenge will be held at GameWorks in Circle Centre Mall. Indy Independent Pro Gamers League, GameWorks and Game Crazy of Indianapolis teamed up to create the event as a benefit for Noble of Indiana, a not-for-profit that provides services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The challenge will start at noon. Entrance fees are $20 per team of two gamers in advance for Halo 2 ($25 at the door) and $10 for Fight Night ($15 at the door). The first place prize is $500, and other placing winners will also receive prizes, and door prizes will be given out as well. To register, call Game Crazy at 925-4268.
