Fifty Indianapolis kids and teens show off the best of city youth art skills

More than 200 teen-agers and youths from around Indianapolis entered the Citywide Talent Contest in April, competing in 11 categories of musical, performance and artistic talent.

Agape Nimmons performed her original monologue, 'What People Think of When They're Bored,' to win Youth Drama. If you want to know what it's about, check out her shirt.

Winners in each of the categories were split into two divisions: Youth (Ages 5-12) and Teen (13-19), and those 22 winning entries were rewarded with the chance to perform at the Indiana Historical Society theater May 20 and 21.
