If you’re a U.S. citizen and will be 18 or older on or by Nov. 2, you can vote. Federal and state laws guarantee your right to vote. Voter harassment is illegal.
But if you want to vote, you must register 29 days before the election.
This year, that’s Monday, Oct. 4. So get off yer butt and register.
Get your hands on a voter registration form.
Voter registration forms are available at all public libraries and license branches, township trustees’ offices and on the Web at http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/vote_reg.html
You cannot register to vote on the Internet.
You may also obtain a form by calling (317) 327-5040.
