It’s apparent that a surface to air missile shot down Malaysian flight MH17, killing all 298 passengers and crew aboard the 777. Who fired the missile? Why? Was it Russian separatists mistakenly firing upon an aircraft they thought was a military jet?

One of the people who lost their lives when that Malaysian airliner was shot down over Ukraine was a Dutch woman who’d been studying at I.U.

In the wake of the attack, another RT on-air journalist quit her job.

In vastly less depressing news, breweries and distilleries are no longer a “nuisance,” according to the city.

And finally, NUVO’s Roy Hobbson went for a ride on a two-seater Honda around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Speeds approached 160 mph on the front straight. Look for an account of Hobbson's Dance with Death in an upcoming issue of NUVO.
