Okay, today's the day.

Speaker Bosma has told Hoosiers who were leaning toward the right side of history that if they didn't play the way he liked, he was going to take his ball and go to another committee. HJR-3 is now in the hands of the Elections Committee since the Judiciary Committee probably wasn't going to give him enough rope ... er, votes.

You can also show up at the statehouse today and make your voice heard.

Okay, now the good news! Just when you thought Indiana's legislature couldn't get any more backward, along comes some "textbooks" out of Texas. Set aside any and all opinions you might have about the hyperbolic headline, read the text, and follow the link to see the scans of the workbook being used in some Texas Charter Schools that contradict evolutionary science in favor of ... well, you know.
