Hoosier Lilly King wins gold medal in 100-meter breaststroke

Posted By on Tue, Aug 9, 2016 at 9:05 AM

Indiana University freshman and Evansville native Lilly King claimed the gold medal in the 100-meter breaststroke Monday night.

King made headlines Sunday night after calling out Russian rival Yulia Efimova for her doping.

Efimova won the silver medal Monday night. Go ahead and drop that mic President Obama style.

And King's hometown of Evansville supported her in an interesting way.

Congrats, Lilly!

The moment you realize it was all worth it
