Workers, union leaders, politicians and supporters gathered in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday morning for the city's annual Labor Day parade.
Turnout was modest, but the rhetoric spirited, as labor supporters denounced the outsourcing of jobs, and made impassioned pleas for the restoration of a strong middle class in America.
I am not a pro photographer, and I was on assignment following a political campaign for the weekend. So most of the shots I took were either
a.) of politicians, or
b.) not so good
