Frosty Moon Midwest Summit

Posted By on Mon, Nov 8, 2010 at 1:14 PM

It’s true that The Mousetrap continues to be central Indiana’s best spot to see top-notch live music from local and regional psychedelic groove bands, but this weekend’s colossal show at Emens Auditorium in Muncie is guaranteed to draw regular Mousetrappers to the out-of-town show for one of the most herculean bills to hit Indiana in 2010. Hidden Relic and are pleased and proud to present a staggering 11 bands across nearly nine hours of music (including Indy’s beloved Twin Cats and Waldemere Revival) for the inaugural Frosty Moon Midwest Summit.

The concept for Frosty Moon is credited to Waldemere Revival drummer Justin Atkins and Emens Auditorium director Darcy Wood, who both wanted to host an event in the “under-utilized” performance space. The event (which has been dubbed as an unofficial send-off to the summer music festival season) will apply the same multi-stage format, utilizing the immense space Emens offers. In addition to main stage shows, there will be short performances in the lobby and DJ sets on stage as each of the headlining bands tear down and set up. Vendors will also be on site selling high-quality, handmade merchandise.
