Rock / Roots New Music from Henry French

Henry French has started recording some new material, destined eventually for a full-length. The first three songs are online and will also be available at his show Friday night at Birdy's, when he opens for Colin Hay.
From his email to me:
"I took two days last week and recorded three new songs, as well as a cover of "Swagger and Sway", all acoustic, no band. I’ll be “releasing” it this Friday at the show. No frills, no overdubs, no voice-correct, no amazingly overproduced, bombastic, epic flights of fancy… just me and my ’69 Gibson, scars and all."
You can hear them on his MySpace page . For now, he will be making this available to the public as of Friday, with no price tag; as he says, "it’s one of them there name-your-price things..."
