Posted By on Mon, Feb 15, 2010 at 4:00 AM

Indy Connect aims to gather public input on a Regional Transportation Plan draft for Central Indiana. The plan includes light and commuter rails, enhanced bus service, expanded roadways, bike paths and pedestrian pathways. Public meetings will be held throughout the region to gather comments and answer questions. Indy Connect, Central Indiana's Transportation Initiative, is a collaboration of the region's public transportation and planning agencies: the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA) and the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo). For more information on Indy Connect or to submit feedback on the draft plan, visit or call 317-327-8601. (See pg. 9 for more on public transportation.)
