Thumbs up: Not so bad after all.

Gov. Daniels has pooh-poohed the Federal stimulus program, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, but given the state's increasingly gloomy financial picture, Federal dollars are just about the only green that many state agencies are seeing. So far, the state has received about half of the $4.7 billion that it qualifies for. The primary areas where the state looks forward to receiving dollars are health care, transportation, education and broadband technology.
