No? Well, this probably isn't the time.
I'm really just here to give you advance warning of The Burroughs Century, a festival in honor of the 100th birthday of William S. Burroughs taking place on the IU campus and in downtown Bloomington Feb. 5-9.
The lineup thus far includes a Burroughs art exhibit in the Grunwald Gallery, a Burroughs paper exhibit at the Lilly Library, a film series at IU Cinema and a symposium Feb. 7-8 at the Indiana Memorial Union, featuring keynote speaker Oliver Harris, who edited new editions of Burroughs' first published work, Junky, and a series of letters between Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, The Yage Letters.
Other projects are in the works, and there's an open call for symposium presentations on the event's Tumblr.
More as this develops.
